Joomla 1.7 Flexi Contact Component

Description:

Some of the main features are as follows:

1. Customizable page heading, image, and text.
2. Customizable destination email address, cc and bcc.
3. "Subject" field is optional and can have default text.
4. All other fields can be optional, mandatory, or hidden.
5. Optional list-box field with customizable prompt and options. Just specify a comma delimited list of entries.
6. Five single line fields with customizable prompts.
7. Message field has customizable prompt, width, and height.
8. Optional simple captcha image system eg. Click on the bike/world etc from number of different images.
9. Optional "magic word" system. The user must locate and enter a pre-defined word or phrase to send the message. (We use this to make you read our Help and Support page before you contact us!).
10. Log file viewable in back end, includes sender's IP address.
11. Optional auto-fill of username and email address for logged in users.
12. Configurable email templates giving complete control over email content and format.
13. Built-in editor to easily edit the FlexiContact CSS styles.
14. Option to not show "Email a copy of this message to your own address"
15. Option to require agreement of a statement and/or linked article before the send button is enabled.
16. Option to send emails as HTML or plain text.
17. Option to redirect to a link after sending a message.
    

Download:

Open a Browser window and enter http://extensions.joomla.org/ in the address bar and hit GO.
Enter the flexi contact in the search textbox and click the search as shown in Diagram 1.

On the search results page there will be a list of Joomla Contact component and plugins displayed. Locate the link Flexi Contact in the search results page and click on it as shown in Diagram 2.

This will navigate to a new page from where the Flexi Contact component can be downloaded as shown in Diagram 3.
Click on the DOWNLOAD to download the Flexi Contact component as shown in Diagram 3.

When you click on the DOWNLOAD button, a new tab will open which will display the Download Page http://extensions.lesarbresdesign.info/extensions/flexicontactas shown in Diagram 4.
Click on Free Download for Joomla 1.5/1.6/1.7 Flexi Contact at the bottom of the page as shown in Diagram 4.

Select the Save File, and save the zip file to your hard disk. Click OK to save the zip file, as shown in Diagram 5.

On click of OK, a file browser will open up. Navigate to an appropriate folder on your hard disk and save the com_flexicontact_5.07.zip file on your local computer, - eg.: “X:\flexiContact_Plugin”. Here X:\ represents an appropriate drive letter on your computer as shown in Diagram 6.

The zip file would be successfully downloaded and saved in the folder chosen as shown in Diagram 7.

Now, the Flexi Contact component is ready to be installed in your Joomla CMS.
