Instalasi Joomla 1.7

Joomla 1.7 Instalasi </h1>
Beberapa fitur baru yang besar dari Joomla 1.7 adalah sebagai berikut:

 Kemudian klik Next pada jendela Browser untuk melanjutkan proses Instalasi Joomla sebagai ditunjukkan dalam Diagram 2. 
 CATATAN: Jika anda perhatikan Kesalahan Tampilan atribut menunjukkan Aktif dalam merah Abaikan ini untuk sementara waktu..

 CATATAN: MySQL database bernama joomlaoneseven telah dibuat sebelumnya pada komputer lokal Anda. 
 CATATAN:
 pengguna MySQL yang bernama joomlaoneseven sebelumnya telah dibuat pada
 komputer lokal Anda dengan perlindungan password yang sesuai. 
 Sekarang saatnya untuk memasuki rincian ini ke dalam bentuk instalasi Joomla seperti yang ditunjukkan pada Diagram 4. 
 Dari drop down box Jenis database daftar pilih MySQLi. 
 Pada kotak teks, masukkan Nama Host localhost. 
 Dalam kotak teks, masukkan Nama Pengguna joomlaoneseven persis seperti Anda menciptakannya. Dalam kasus ini semua karakter adalah huruf kecil. 
 CATATAN: Pastikan bahwa Anda memasukkan User Name persis seperti yang Anda menciptakannya. Dalam kasus ini semua karakter adalah huruf kecil. 
 Pada kotak teks Sandi masukkan password pengguna MySQL. 
 CATATAN: Pastikan bahwa Anda memasukkan password persis seperti yang Anda menciptakannya. yaitu Bayar perhatian ke Atas dan Bawah karakter huruf, angka dan / atau karakter khusus yang digunakan 
 Dalam kotak teks Nama database masukkan nama database MySQL persis seperti diciptakan joomlaoneseven sebelumnya yaitu. Dalam kasus ini semua karakter adalah huruf kecil. 
 Database Joomla prefix tabel secara acak dihasilkan untuk alasan keamanan. Fitur baru yang ditambahkan di Joomla 1.7. Anda bahkan dapat mengubah prefix tabel yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan Anda jika Anda suka. 
 Klik Next untuk melanjutkan seperti yang ditunjukkan pada Diagram 4.

 Pada kotak Nama Situs teks, masukkan nama ini website. 
 Pada kotak teks Email Anda masukkan administrator Email ini website ID {Masukkan Email ID yang sesuai}. 
 Pada kotak teks Admin Username masukkan username administrator website {Masukkan username administrator yang sesuai}. Secara default Joomla mengatur username sebagai admin. Melakukan perubahan untuk alasan keamanan. 
 Pada kotak teks Password Admin masukkan password administrator ini website {Masukkan password administrator yang sesuai}. 
 Pada kotak teks Confirm Admin Password masukkan password yang identik sebagai salah satu masukkan di atas. 
 CATATAN: Tulis password administrator turun dan tetap aman. Anda akan perlu untuk login ke, sistem website Joomla Anda administrasi. 
 Karena Anda adalah pengguna pertama kali melakukan instalasi Joomla sampel data default. Untuk melakukan ini, cukup klik Install Sampel data. 
 Data sampel Joomla diinstal dan perubahan Tombol untuk membaca data Sampel berhasil diinstal.

 CATATAN: Ada satu pekerjaan kecil tetapi penting pergi sebelum Anda dapat menguji instalasi Joomla CMS. 
 Klik Hapus folder instalasi untuk menghapus folder instalasi dari Joomla CMS sebelum mengakses website.

Slideshow

The Widgetkit Slideshow is the most interesting widget of the 
Widgetkit BETA release. It takes full advantage of the very 
user-friendly Widgetkit administration user interface. You can easily 
create and manage slideshows and their different slides. It comes with 
15 eye-catching transition effects which are all based on hardware 
accelerated CSS3 animations with a javascript fallback for all Internet 
Explorers. This makes the slideshow run smoothly on iPads, iPhones and 
Android phones. As icing on the cake the slideshow can be browsed using 
swipe gesture on mobile phones.

Lightbox

The Widgetkit Lightbox is our new and shiny lightbox. It is 
originally based on the great Fancybox for jQuery. We did some 
optimization, removed IE6 support and used CSS3 and HTML5. It also comes
 with support for YouTube and Vimeo videos as well as SWF movies. It 
replaces our old lightbox so there is no need to use the YOOeffects 
plugin anymore.

Spotlight

We also added the Spotlight effect to Widgetkit which you all know 
from our Warp5.5 themes. That’s the reason why we removed it from Warp6.
 The new Spotlight effect, is also enhanced and is a lot easier to use 
than the previous version.

Twitter

The Widgetkit Twitter widget replaces our old YOOtweet module. It is 
completely rewritten and the caching is optimized. The tweets will show 
up even if Twitter is not available.

Downloading Joomla 1.7 To Your Local Computer

Open a Browser window and enter http://www.google.com in the address bar and hit GO.

In the Google search windows that opens search for download joomla as shown in diagram 1.

In the Search results window Click on the joomla.org link <a href="http://www.joomla.org/download.html">http://www.joomla.org/download.html</a> as shown in Diagram 2.

When joomla.org opens in the Browser window locate the Download 
section of Joomla 1.7.X and click the ZIP of the stable full package of 
as shown in Diagram 3.

Click OK, as shown in Diagram 4.

On click of OK, a <a class="kLink" href="http://www.opensourcevarsity.com/#" id="KonaLink1" style="font-family: inherit !important; font-size: inherit !important; font-weight: inherit !important; position: static; text-decoration: underline !important;">file browser</a>
 will open up. Navigate to an appropriate folder on your hard disk and 
save the Joomla_1.7.0-Stable-Full_Package.zip to your local computer, 
eg: “X:\ public_html\” Here X:\ represents an appropriate drive letter
 on your computer, as shown in Diagram 5. The zip file would be 
successfully downloaded and saved in this folder.

Joomla 1.7 Flexi Contact Component Configuration

For the configuration of Flexi Contact component in Joomla 1.7, you 
have to first login through the administrative panel of Joomla by 
simply entering the url_of_your_website/administrator in your browser. 
Enter the username, password and leave the Language to Default, click on Login as shown in Diagram 1.

After logging in to the backend, a control panel page opens as shown in Diagram 2. 
The Control Panel provides access to many default Joomla! functions 
and features. From the Control Panel, you can create and manage 
articles and categories. Other features available in the Control Panel 
are the media, menu, language, and user managers.

In the top menu, locate Components. Click Components.;From the drop down menu that appears click on FlexiContact and then click on Configuration as shown in Diagram 3.

1. General Configuration
Enter the following details for the General Configuration as shown in Diagram 5. The following is a list of options provided: 
Logging 
Logging is off by default. If you click on Yes, all contacts are logged to the database. 
Send HTML 
If you click Yes, emails are sent in HTML format to users. If you click No, emails are sent in plain text format to users. 
Autofill 
This controls the automatic filling of the Name and Email Address for those users who are logged on to the front end of the website. 
Agreement Required 
This option allows you to require that users click a checkbox to 
enable the Send button in the front end. This can be done by entering 
some text (a text that appears after the checkbox) in the Prompt field. 
The Name and Link fields are optional. If they are both non-blank, the 
link is added after the prompt text, and when clicked, the link opens 
in a popup window 
Click Save and Close after filling all the details as shown in Diagram 5, in order to save the General Configuration and close the edit screen. 
You can also click on Save, in order to save the General Configuration data updated and stay on the editable screen.

2. Email To Admin:
With reference from the Diagram 4, this option allows you to specify
 the exact content of the email sent to administrators email address. 
3. Email To User:
With reference from the Diagram 4, this option allows you to specify
 the exact content of the email sent to a user.If the checkbox "Email a
 copy of this message to your own address" is checked a copy of the 
Email is sent to the user’s Email ID. 
4. Confirmation Page:
Here you can create the page that is displayed to a user after they 
dispatch any message via the FlexiContact form. The confirmation message
 can be delivered either by a link to a confirmation page on the 
website, OR by specifying confirmation content here as shown in the Diagram 6. 
NOTE: If a link is being specified its path must be
 relative to website root or a full URL. If you specify a link and some 
text, the link is used and not the text.

5. Form Fields:
This section allows you to configure the fields that appear on the 
FlexiContact form. Enter the following details for the Form Fields as 
shown in Diagram 7. 
The following are the list of options provided: 
Show subject 
This option controls the display of the subject field or not. 
Default subject 
Will hold the text that will be set as the default subject text 
Show copy checkbox 
This option controls whether the "Email a copy of this message to your own address" checkbox is included on the form or not. 
Message 
This is the message box where the site visitor types in a message to 
you. You can specify the size of the message box in width and height. 
List 
By enabling this option you can show a dropdown list in the FlexiContact form. This is disabled by default. To use it, specify a prompt, and a list of words or phrases separated by commas. 
Eg. Prompt: "How did you find us?" 
List: “Newspaper, Pamphlet, Magazine, Google, Other" 
Fields 1 to 5 
These are all disabled by default, but you can activate them and use them to collect any specific information you want from a site visitor. 
Click Save and Close after filling all the details as shown in Diagram 7, in order to save the Form Fields and close the edit screen. 
You can also click Save, in order to save the Form Fields updated data and stay on the editable screen.

6. Top Text
The Top Text configuration can be access via the FlexiContact configuration panel as shown in the Diagram 8

7. Bottom Text 
The Bottom Text configuration can be access via the FlexiContact configuration panel as shown in the Diagram 10

8. Front end Styles
The Front end Styles configuration can be access via the FlexiContact configuration panel as shown in the Diagram 12

This option allows you to edit the CSS stylesheet that FlexiContact uses for the contact form. 
The contact form uses a number of css classes, and loads its own 
style sheet.The style sheet used with FlexiContact is available at:

com_flexicontact.css defines styling rules for the following elements: 
.flexicontact :- The entire FlexiContact page 
.fc_form :- The form containing the fields 
.fc_table :- The table within the contact form 
.fc_table tr :- The rows of the table 
.fc_table td :- All the cells of the table 
.fc_table td.fc_:- Prompt cells of the table 
.fc_table td.fc_ :-Field cells of the table 
.fc_error :-Error messages 
.fc_table td.fc_ :-cell that contains the captcha images 
.fc_table td.fc_ :-cell that contains the Send button 
.fc_inactive :-The styling for un-highlighted captcha images 
.fc_active :-The styling for the highlighted captcha image 
9. Captcha Images
The Captcha Images configuration can be access via the FlexiContact configuration panel as shown in the Diagram 14

select the images using the checkbox, and click the Delete toolbar

Joomla 1.7 Flexi Contact Component Installation

For installing the Flexi Contact component in Joomla 1.7, you have 
to first login through the administrative panel of joomla by simply 
entering the url_of_your_website/administrator in your browser.

An Extension Manager page opens. In the Upload Package File section, click the Browse button as shown in Diagram 4.

After clicking on the Browse Button a file navigator window opens. 
Navigate to the appropriate folder where the Flexi contact component zip
 file is located, select and open the file as shown in Diagram 5.

The zip file name appears in the Package File text box. Click Upload & Install in order to upload the Flexi contact component zip file and install it into the Joomla framework as shown in Diagram 6.

Once the Flexi contact component zip file has been uploaded you will
 see the successful installation message with description as shown in 
Diagram 7.

Now to display the FlexiContact Form on a website page we need to create a menu and assign Flexicontact to this menu item. 
In the top menu, locate Menu. Click Menu.From the drop down menu that appears click Top and thenclick Add New Item as shown in Diagram 8.

Enter all the details required and click Save and Close as shown in Diagram 11. This will save the Menu Item and close the edit screen.
